Eagle Mark 4 began as Smith Equipment Inc., a family owned business, in 1977. With over 25 years experience Smith Equipment was known as a leading edge innovator in the Yard Tractor industry. The business has dramatically diversified through the years to include new and used truck sales, leasing programs, truck restorations and one of the largest yard tractor parts inventories in the country.

In 1990 the company was renamed to a more patriotic name in support of the Gulf War to Eagle Mark 4. The company’s main purpose was to supply yard trucks and terminal tractor equipment to the eastern United States region and service parts worldwide. Since that time it has grown to service customers around the world in over 97 countries. Eagle Mark 4 maintains the largest inventory of parts for all makes and models of terminal tractors in the nation.
